Bajaj to launch Ninja 250

What do you think? Is the Pulsar enough to maintain the status of Bajaj as a good bike manufacturer? Well, after the revolution of full-fairing brought in by Yamaha YZF-R15 and now the Hero Honda Karizma ZMR Fi, I guess not. Pulsar 150, then 180, 200 and 220... and not a Pulsar 250 again. The next super bike from Bajaj will be Ninja 250!
Kawasaki Ninja 250Bajaj Kawasaki Ninja 250 will be equipped with 8 valve DOHC 249cc twin-cylinder liquid cooled engine with fuel injection system. This motorcycle’s machine churns out power of 30 bhp and has a six speed gear box that will enable the bike to go upto a maximum speed of 177 kmph.

Bajaj plans to import the bike as a CKU (Completely Knocked-Down Unit) which means that the parts will be imported and then later assembled in India. This beast is expected to be priced around Rs. 1.6 - 2 lakhs. So, all we have to do is to wait now for its launch and setting the roads ablaze.Ninja 250

Hyundai to launch i30 in India

After the tremendous success of there cars i10 and i20, Hyundai has planned to launch its i30 car in India very soon. Hyundai i30, designed by the Hyundai European team in Germany, is a premium 5-door luxury hatchback.
Hyundai i30Hyundai i30 incorporated with all desired features, its reversing sensors and six airbags offer extra style, safety and convenience. The car will be available in 3 petrol engines and 2 diesel engines, either with manual or auto transmission. All this makes it one of the best equipped cars in auto industry.

Hyundai i30 will be available in 5 exotic colors - Continental Silver, Vivid Blue, Shine Red, Steel Grey, Stone Black..

1. Hyundai i30 1.4 style with maximum engine power of 1,396 cc
2. Hyundai i30 1.6 style with maximum engine power of 1,591 cc
3. Hyundai i30 2.0 CRDI style with maximum engine power of 1,991 cc

Tata Motors launced Land Rover Freelander 2 in India

Finally last day (22nd Sept.), Land Rover has successfully launched its highly acclaimed SUV Freelander 2 in the Indian Market. This latest SUV is priced around Rs. 35 lakhs (or less, excluding local taxes).Land Rover Freelander 2This new Land Rover Freelander 2 from Tata Moters is constructed on a unibody structure that is shared with the Ford Mondeo which is different from the other SUVs that generally have body-on-frame structure.

Powered by a 2.2 Litre common rail turbodiesel engine which is mounted transversely provides extra space for better crash protection, front end styling and a shorter bonnet that maximizes the cabin space. Freelander has achieved a full 5 stars in the EURO NCAP for adult protection - a first in its class because of all that and a rigid monocoque body and shell. Land Rover’s trademark Terrain Response System also comes as standard.

Well, due to 100% import duty, this Land Rover is also heavily priced like the other imported cars. This latest launch is being sold at UK at half the price of the cost of FreeLander 2 in India that is at around Rs. 17 lakhs.

Apart form Land Rover Freelander 2, other launches by Tata Motors includes Range Rover Sport, Range Rover and Discovery 3.

Hero Honda launched its new "Karizma ZMR Fi"

The most awaited Hero Honda Karizma ZMR Fi has been finally launched. Priced at Rs. 91,000/- (ex-Delhi Showroom), this bike is all set to compete against other performance bikes in Indian Market like the Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTSi and Yamaha YZF-R15.Hero Honda Karizma ZMR FiThe bike retains the same 223cc engine but gets its fuel via PGM-Fi fuel injection (Programmed Fuel Injection) which increases is power by .6 BHP to 17.6BHP @ 7000 rpm with a maximum torque of 18.35 nm, with a top speed of 135 kmph.

The change of exteriors and design over its predecessor is major and which establishes Karizma ZMR Fi as an all new bike. It now features a full fairing (that gives you a big-bike feel), new headlamp and LED tail lamps (from the CBZ Xtreme), Split clip on handle bars, fairing mounted rear view mirrors, split rear grab rails, oil cooler, Programmable Fuel Injection Technology, Bank Angel Sensor (cuts fuel supply if the bike tips over), New rear mud guard, Fairing mounted front indicators, Rear Disc Brakes, Gas Charged Rear Shock Absorbers and finally new graphics and colours. The motorcycle with a get a digital speedometer while the tachometer will continue to be analog.
